AWCA Teesside

Welcome to AWCA Teesside. AWCA Teesside is an official Continued Learning Extension School (CLES) of the Arizona Wing Chun Association (AWCA), a recognized school of the International Ving Tsun Kung Fu Federation (IVTKFF).

AWCA Teesside. works directly with Sifu Phil Bradley of the AWCA in order to locate training partners and share our love of this phenomenal martial art. Working directly with the AWCA Distance Learning Program, AWCA Teesside. is accepting potential training partners to grow in the art and learn from one another.

AWCA Teesside was founded on the basis that not everyone has the opportunities for working one-on-one with other practitioners. Maybe you don't have a school in your area, maybe the schools that "are" in your area are not to your liking, or maybe the fees are so expensive that you cannot afford it.

Well, forget all of that here, because at AWCA Teesside, we are all one family that works together for the betterment of us all. We stay in weekly contact with Sifu Phil via webcam training (and periodic personal training), so everything we learn is directly from the AWCA with nothing left out.

As for AWCA Teesside, A few years ago I was training Jeet Kune Do, but knew  nothing about it so I bought a Jeet Kune Do DVD to enlighten me further and its then that  I first saw Wing Chun in action, I saw a Kung Fu Master beat up a man bigger than him and react and strike so fast is was over in a split second for the big guy.

After a little enquiry I discovered that what the master was actually using was Wing Chun, so I went out to find as much on the subject as I could, I bought a DVD of the Siu-Nim-Tau and started to learn the form, but some time into that I realised I was lacking direction.

I decided to look for a local school and found none so began my search for an online school that may help and after some time surfing past the AWCA my brain clicked into place and I had realised I had found what I needed to progress. So here I am 3 years later still studying Wing Chun and loving it and have recently completed studying the Siu-Nim-Tau and Chum-kiu and am now working with real fighting incorporating my previous learned skills and am now perfecting what i know but believe you me that's only the start of the journey.

Rather than "go it alone" with a distance program, why not take it even further and give us a call? I guarantee that your training will explode when you work with fellow practitioners.

To your training success,
